Cornish Jeweller
Rach Richardson
Hi, I’m Rach, A creative soul & fresh air lover.
After becoming a mum, I decided to do something different. I had always been creative, so on a whim, I bought a tiny second-hand Kiln. After lots of late nights learning how to use my new tool, a love for jewellery making was born.
Now I’m a Cornish Jeweller with the mission to inspire joy, through creating beautiful earth-aware jewellery.
Cornish Jeweller, & her inspiration
My jewellery comes to life from my tiny studio nestled deep in the Cornish Countryside. It is a stone's throw from the ocean, where I take all my inspiration. From stormy winter walks to summer days with sandy toes, the ocean will always be in my soul.
Cornish Jeweller
who makes by hand
I’m self-taught in the traditional techniques of pottery and metal-smithing. I can get lost in the process of designing and making, when I look up, I have created something beautiful and unique.
I concentrate on keeping my pieces feather light and comfortable. I want my jewellery to be loved and reached for every day. Each piece lasts a lifetime, so the jewellery and its memories can be passed on to the next generation.
I work creating small-batch run pieces, or you can commission a bespoke item just for yourself.
The Earth Aware Cornish Jeweller
Whilst completing a geography degree, I realised how important our earth is, and how we need to take care of it. Therefore, all my jewellery is made with a slow fashion ethos. I aim for the most sustainable methods and materials in my work, from eco-conscious recycled metals to my eco kiln, recycling every scrap of clay and metal to create zero waste
